چکیده

This work reports the development of an electrical and optical biosensing for label-free detection Aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) using gold (Au) nanobipyramids (NBPs). AuNBPs were synthesized through a two-step seed-mediated growth process followed by exchange capping agent from surfactant to lipoic acid. Pure monodispersed 70 nm base length obtained deposited on indium tin oxide (ITO)-coated glass substrate modified with self-assembled (3-Aminopropyl) triethoxysilane (APTES) film. The characterization surfaces spectroscopy, microscopy diffractometry confirms formation AuNBPs, conjugation ITO electrode immobilization anti-AFB1 antibodies. substrates used both electrochemical Surface Plasmon Resonance studies. Localized (LSPR) local field enhancement was demonstrated. SPR based AFB1 found be linear in 0.1–500 nM range limit 0.4 nM, whereas, impedimetric shown 0.1–25 0.1 nM. practical utility sensor tested spiked maize samples 95–100% recovery percentage together low relative standard deviation, proof robustness this sensor.

Development of electrochemical aptasensor based on gold nanorod and its application for detection of aflatoxin B1 in rice and blood serum sample

Aflatoxins are a group of fungal mycotoxins produced mainly by molds, e.g. Aspergillus flavus and Aspergillus parasiticus. Among Aflatoxins, Aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) is the most toxic. Therefore, there is a prompt need for determination of AFB1 in food products. This paper reports an electrochemical aptasensor for accurate determination of AFB1, which was constructed by the using gold nanorod sensin...

Electrochemical Immunosensor Based on Polythionine/Gold Nanoparticles for the Determination of Aflatoxin B1

An aflatoxin B₁ (AFB₁) electrochemical immunosensor was developed by the immobilisation of aflatoxin B₁-bovine serum albumin (AFB₁-BSA) conjugate on a polythionine (PTH)/gold nanoparticles (AuNP)-modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE). The surface of the AFB₁-BSA conjugate was covered with horseradish peroxidase (HRP), in order to prevent non-specific binding of the immunosensors with ions in t...

Immunochromatographic Assay for Ultrasensitive Detection of Aflatoxin B1 in Maize by Highly Luminescent Quantum Dot Beads

Highly luminescent quantum dot beads (QBs) were synthesized by encapsulating CdSe/ZnS and used for the first time as immunochromatographic assay (ICA) signal amplification probe for ultrasensitive detection of aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) in maize. The challenges to using high brightness QBs as probes for ICA are smooth flow of QBs and nonspecific binding on nitrocellulose (NC) membrane, which are overc...

A multiplex chemiluminescent biosensor for type B-fumonisins and aflatoxin B1 quantitative detection in maize flour.

A multiplex chemiluminescent biosensor for simple, rapid and ultrasensitive on-site quantification of aflatoxin B1 and type B-fumonisins in maize samples has been developed. The biosensor integrates a multiplex indirect competitive lateral flow immunoassay (LFIA) based on enzyme-catalyzed chemiluminescence detection and a highly sensitive portable charge-coupled device (CCD) camera, employed in...

Bioimprinting as a tool for the detection of aflatoxin B1 using a capacitive biosensor

A strategy for the detection of aflatoxin B1 using a capacitive biosensor has been studied. The use of proteins for the generation of sites with high specificity against aflatoxin B1 are produced via bioimprinting. This technique has become a tool for the detection of aflatoxin B1 using a capacitive biosensor. The results demonstrate the ability to generate specific interactions with aflatoxin ...
